2026 Summer Work Program

Our Summer Work Program offers eligible high school students the chance to gain hands‑on experience while earning tuition assistance. Open to students who qualify for financial assistance, the program runs Monday, June 1 through Thursday, August 6, 2026, Monday–Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Participants take on real maintenance and facilities tasks such as moving desks, mopping floors, painting walls, cleaning lockers, picking up litter, pulling weeds, and painting bleachers. Because the work is physical and often messy, students should arrive in appropriate clothing and sturdy work shoes.

This is a true work‑study opportunity, and students are expected to be prompt, dependable, and responsible. Daily drop‑off and pick‑up take place at the maintenance entrance on the north side of the building, and students must leave campus within 15 minutes of clocking out.

Applications must be received by April 17th.
Students under age 16 must also complete a work‑permit application, available in the front office.
Families will be notified of acceptance and assigned work weeks by May 1st.
