    Wed, May 13
In 1917, Our Lady of Fatima visited three Portuguese children, Lucia dos Santos and her cousins Jacinta and Francisco Marto. Mary asked the children to pray the Rosary every day for peace, the end of World War I, for the conversion of Russia, and for sinners.
During the last apparition of Our Lady of Fatima on October 13, 70,000 people witnessed the movement of the sun around the sky. Our Lady gave three secrets to the children, which were not revealed until later. The secrets included the devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, a vision of hell, and a "bishop in white" with bullet and arrow wounds. Many believe this last vision to describe the assassination attempt on Pope St. John Paul II.

    Sat, May 23
The title Mary, Queen of Apostles is drawn from Acts 1:13-14 and recognizes Mary's role both in Jesus' ministry and the ministry of the Church. She was there when Jesus began his public ministry at the wedding at Cana, and was with the Apostles upon the descent of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost.
Devotion to Mary, Queen of Apostles is one of the oldest Marian devotions in the Church, and today many missionary orders as well as Catholic apostolates have Mary, Queen of Apostles as their patron

    Sun, May 24
The Solemnity of Pentecost celebrates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles 10 days after Jesus' Ascension. We hear of Pentecost in the Acts of the Apostles, and it has remained one of the most revered solemnities in the Church.
It is commonly referred to as the "birthday of the Church" because it was through the help of the Holy Spirit that the Apostles began the public ministry of the Church. Celebrations of Pentecost are usually filled with symbolism, including a dove for the Holy Spirit and the color red for the fire and passion for the faith we receive through the Holy Spirit. The Sacrament of Confirmation celebrates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon us today

The Memorial of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church, was added to the liturgical calendar in 2018. The day celebrates the Blessed Mother under the title officially conferred upon her during the Second Vatican Council.
The feast recognizes Mary standing at the foot of the cross when Jesus gives us Mary as the Mother of the Church.
